Rook Piercing Take Two

So I'm still wanting a rook piercing and I'm going to town next week with my friend Claire.
Usually we end up getting something pierced haha.
I'm undecided on which ear to get pierced though.
My left ear has a tragus and 2 lobes piercings.
Whereas my right ear has 3 lobe piercings.
Decisions Decisions.

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment - 2 Months on and a Review

I've just finished my two pots of Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment and it has been 2 months.
So here are the results:

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Review

+ Conditions hair really well leaving it soft to touch
+ Smells nice (which is always a plus)
+ I personally believe it does aid hair growth. I had my highlights done a few weeks ago and they've already grown out to at least 1.5-2cm.

- Expensive (£8~) I wouldn't buy this unless there was an offer on
- Not much product. Since I have very thick hair it only lasts me a month tops.
- It states that it should be on the hair for at least 5 minutes. I don't think this is long enough in my eyes and so I tended to leave it on for 10~ minutes. Which can be a pain if your in a rush.

Since I've used up all my pots I'll carry on taking pictures every month just to document my hair growth.
If this is on offer 2 for £8 again in Boots I will definitely be picking it up.

a-bit-a ebayin' mon

I always see such gorgeous necklaces on Tumblr.
So I decided to having a lookie on ebay to see what was there.
Badabingbadaboom I saw these!

The 1st is the key of life cross and I love it!
The second is a healing opalite gemstone pendulum,
this is so pretty it shines all sorts of different colours.
Altogether these came up to about £6 with p&p what a bargain.
I'll be planning on wearing the two together.

Introducing Bertie

So I've posted about my pig Ted before,
but here's my bunny.
His names Bertie and he's a dwarf lop.

He's a proper character,
always getting up to no good.
For example trying to get behind the tele to chew some wires,
or running up the stairs to hide under my parents bed. lol.
<3

I didn't want to leave Ted out,
so here he is:
Chillin' in his wooden chalet.

Desperate for the narnie. :D

Teeth Whitening

Everybody wants gorgeous white gnashers,
hell I do!

But I've just read an article in the Daily Mail about home whitening kits.
Here's what the article had to say:

Blanx Intensive Whitening Treatment £10.99
Claim: 'Its a unique formula, based on Arctic lichen, is safe to use without being aggressive on the enamel.'
Verdict: 'This contains smooth glass particles that act like a polish, rather than an abrasive. But if it's polishing off a thin layer of surface over years, there's a risk of worn enamel' - Professor Andrew Edner

2/10

Dang I've bought Blanx in the past and definitely won't be buying it again.
Also I didn't see much of a difference when I did use it.

Rapid White Blue Light £30.63
Claim: 'Whitens teeth up to five shades lighter with two hours blue light.'
Verfict: 'This product contains citric acid that softens the enamel, so if you brush your teeth directly after using this, you're effectively spitting your teeth down the sink.' Dr Stemmer

3/10

Sounds horrendous!

CREST 3D Whitestrips Five Minute Touch-Ups £19.95
Claim: 'Crest Whitestrips provide you with a beautiful, whiter smile - guaranteed.' Contains 5.3% hydrogen peroxide.
Verdict: 'These are not permitted in the UK, though they can be bought from European websites. They are effective, but they need to be supervised by a dentist.' Dr Greenwall

5/10

Never knew these bad boys were not permitted in the UK.
After hearing all the raves from the Americans I thought I would give them a go.
I bought a pack of these off the internet several months ago and they do work.

Rembrandt 2-Hour Whitening Kit, £12.17 (drugstore.com)
Claim: 'Visibly whiter teeth in two hours'
Verdict: 'This will whiten your teeth.' -Dr Greenwall
The kit contains a tray which is placed over the teeth and bleach is added.

6/10

This treatment seemed to be rated quite well.
And for only £12.17 its a bit of a bargain.

(All information was from the Daily Mail.)

Have you guys used any whitening treatments?

Hair Tools

I love my trusty GHD's and wouldn't swap them for the world

but after watching Pixi2woo's video I really would love to try the

BaByliss 2337U Wave Envy Hair Styler.

It looks super easy to use and gives the most natural waves I've ever seen!
It is priced around £50 so this will definitely have to go on my wish list.

I also don't actually own any curling tongs,
my hair is naturally curly/wavey but not in a good way!
More messy then anything.
I love the VS curls which are created by these,
using straighteners is just annoying.
Plus the Mark Hill ones have a snazzy design.

I'll definitely buy these eventually but I'm not too desperate just yet,
waiting on my hair to be that little bit longer. :)

Have any of you guys tried any decent hair tools that you would recommend?

tattoo

I think some can be a work of art whereas others a just pure hideous.
Not matter what my age, my mum would kill me if I got one.
The only thing preventing me from getting a tattoo is the needle.
I'm so freaked out by needles, uggh!
Whenever I go for blood tests I feel so faint and just want to squirm out of the nurses arms.
But its funny I should say that because when I get a piercing,
the needle used doesn't effect me what-so-ever!

(Images from various tumblrs)

If I was to get one it would be an iddy biddy one, haha.
Something small and one that I could hide easily.
And of course it would have to mean something in the first place.

Do you have any tattoo's? ^^

Hair Dilemma

I get bored of my hair all the time!
Its such a nuisance.
I chop it all short then I try to grow it long again.
I've been fully blonde, to dark brown, to light brown/dark blonde, to red/purple to auburn.

Last night I went out for my friend Alex's Bday.
Couldn't stay out too long since I had a hair appointment at 9am.

Basically I ended up with blonde highlights all over.
It took 2 hours and the amount of foils/beach that was used was unreal!
I have stupidly thick hair *shakes fist*

Beforehand I wasn't sure whether to go back blonde or do something crazy and go black.
Black is the one colour I have never been!

I love bein' blonde! (&&& I want those black wedges!) Blonde is what I'm use to!

But after reading a blog by Janni and her having gorgeous black hair I was unsure what to do.

The only problem I have with black is changing it once I become bored.
Black to Blonde eeeek!
But no doubt in the future I will bite the bullet and have black hair.
I'm curious to how I would look.
^^

Anyways after that random ramble,
I'll shurrup.

My Tragus Piercing

I got my tragus pierced at the beginning of October 2010.
My friend Claire and I both wanted to get something pierced.
I decided on my tragus and she wanted her nose doing.
We went to the Piercing Bodz in Chester,
Great place, very clean, friendly and definitely not dodgey!

Pain doesn't both me at all,
so I wasn't expecting it to hurt that much.
Oh ho ho,
I was so wrong.
It really does hurt and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
The initial piercing is a bitch but when the jewelry is put through its not too bad,
since your hearts pounding like a mofo.
It was love at first sight!
I paid £25 for it, so so worth it.

Now the healing is quite lengthy, since its a cartilage piercing.
Sleeping on that ear for the first few months is bad.
Banging it just makes the thing angry as hell.
So I suggest to leave it alone.

I tried changing my barbell to a circular barbell after a few months.
I thought it was healed since when I touched it there was no pain, I couldn't really feel it.
That was the worst mistake I could ever do.
My ear got so angry and inflamed.
I took it out straight away and tried to put a normal barbell back in it.
I was stressing out because it was so fiddley.
After about an hour of trying I managed to get it back in.

I'm still in love with it and plan on keeping it for as long as possible!

If you've got any questions,
don't hesitate to ask!

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment - 1 Month on...

I've been using this treatment for exactly a month now and have seen a noticeable difference.
My hair is longer, feels really soft and smells great.
One pot only lasted me one month. :O
(I have another pot left, thank goodness!)

So here's the results after 1 month:

Before I started the treatment my hair reached the 4th band on my top.
After 1 month my hair now reaches the 5th band on the top.
I'm pretty please with the results so far.
I'll update you guys in another month!

(I hope Boots has the Lee Stafford 2 for £8 more often, I'll definitely be picking more of these babies up.)

Has anyone else had good results with this hair treatment?
