Balance Me Face Mist Review

Balance Me Skin Bright Hydrating Face Mist*

After trying out the Balance Me Face Oil, I couldn't wait to give another Balance Me product a test drive. I decided to try out the face mist, as I've always got on well with them in the past. The way I use this, is that I spray it over my face in the mornings after I've moisturised just to give me a boost. This way it wakes me up and my skin feels ultra hydrated. The spray mechanism squirts a light mist over ones face, rather than a water pistol like the Mac Fix+. The smell is very fresh, since it's full of natural ingredients. I have yet another staple product in my skincare routine.

I highly recommend the products (Face Oil and Face Mist) that I have tried out from Balance Me. The Balance Me Face Fist can be purchased from Balance Me for £20 (60ml).

Michael Kors Purse

I bought my first designer purse the other week, yay! This was a total impulse buy, eep. I was at the Cheshire Oaks Outlet and so happened to walk into the Michael Kors shop. I was just having a goosey gander and I came across this purse. It's made from real leather and has rose gold hardware. What more could a girl want! I thought "ahhh, what the heck", you only live once, so I bought it. A few hours later, I got in my car ready to drive off and I thought to myself, I better just check to make sure they had given me the right one. And well I never, they didn't!. They gave me a grey one, so off I popped back to the shop to get the actually one I had ordered, bah. Now all I want is a sexy black Mulberry Effie to go with it. Ohhhhhh.

Origins Super Spot Remover Review

I usually have somewhat clear skin, although my lower cheek/jaw always seem to have blemishes, no matter what I do, but that's a different story! I do get the odd occasional spot but until recently I didn't really do much with them. However, I can't wear any makeup at work, and that means if I get a spot, I can't cover the damn thing up, so it's on complete show. So I started doing some research and I saw that this was a much raved about product. At £13 it isn't the cheapest but then again you only use a teeny bit.

I always apply this at night before I go to bed as it does leave behind a clear sheen on the skin, which is quite obvious. In the morning I wash my face and the sheen goes away. I tend to pop the gel on my little finger first and then apply it to the spot. At which point it stings like a right bugger. Like some kind of wasp has gone crazy on yo ass. But don't worry! It is bearable. When I wake up my spots are less angry, and less noticeable, which is always good. I found that my skin started to flake the day after using this, so I just make sure I exfoliate well. I really do recommend the Origins Super Spot Remover, especially if you're like me and suffer from the odd breakout.

Do you guys recommend any spot treatments?

zalando

Jumper c/o Zalando

I was recently introduced to a website called Zalando, it is an online company that sells pretty much everything a girl could need, from clothes to beauty. It has some of the big brands such as Wildfox, Vero Moda and Vagabond as well as lesser known ones, which are just as good. I came across some really quirky brands selling on trend things. For example, this jumper is from the brand Reverse. I love the skull print and the shredding, as well as the purple ombre. It is super soft and reminds me so much of the expensive Wildfox jumpers. Another plus side to the site is that it's free shipping and returns, plus you have up to 30 days to return an item if you are unsure. To say the shipping was free, it landed on my doorstep rather quickly.

I've really enjoyed having a nosey on Zalando, and if your like me and enjoy discovering new brands, then I'm sure you'll like it too!

leather jacket

So at the weekend I bought my very first "proper" leather jacket. I've wanted one for ages but they're so damn expensive. I popped into Lakeland which do really nice, good quality clothing. I came across this jacket and I knew I wanted it straight away. The leather smells lovely and is super soft. I like the collar and the fact that it has a middle zip. The fit is perfect, it's quite a generous size 10, damn them knockers, getting in the way all the time! It cost £150 in the sale down from £300 which is quite good! I can already tell that this is going to be a staple in my wardrobe, and that it's going to get worn to death :).

Pixie Cut Update - 5 Months

Soooo my fro is growing, though be it very slowly (it seems to take forever!). If you guys don't know, I'm on a mission to grow out my pixie cut. I'm still glad that I got my hair cut short because I've always wondered what it was like to have short hair and now I know! Anyways, after about 2 months I decided that I wanted longer hair, so fast forward another 5 months and this is where I'm at. I get trims every 6-7 weeks, just to keep it healthy and I get the back bit at the bottom cut super short, as this tends to grow like a muddafudda and look real stupid.

Recently I've just been using a standard shampoo and conditioner (whatever is on offer) and then apply some Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment when it's been towel dried, and well that's pretty much it. I was using Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment but that was a couple of months back. I, however, have just popped onto Ebay and bought me sen some Mane-n-Tail shampoo and conditioner. I can't wait to start using it as I've heard so many good reviews. I will let you guys know my thoughts on that at a later date!

I'm also fed up of being brown, ughhh! I did try going back to my natural dark blonde/light brown colour but that was one big massive epic fail. So once I get it to all one length and into a somewhat bob style I shall be going back blonde, hurrah!

Do you guys recommend anything for speedier hair growth?

sneak peek - magazine collage/inspiration wall

Just a sneaky peek at my "wall", it's nearly finished, just waiting on a few more things to be delivered but the majority of it is done, yay! It took me quite a few hours to go through the magazines choosing the pages that I liked. Then cutting them up and sticking them on the wall. I've also added little trinkets, for example bunting, dreamcatchers, wooden signs etc. But I'll do more of an indepth blog post once it's finished! I love just staring at it, definitely makes my room a lot more interesting!

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector Review

I'm so fussy when it comes to lip products. At the most I whack on a bit of lip balm and that's it. But when this little product emerged on the blogosphere and all the raving reviews that went along with it, I knew I had to try it. And well, I fell in love with it straight away. It smells really nice, applies like a dream, they're not sticky and really moisturising. This product makes my lips look a lot better, more plump and glossy. This is now a stable in my everyday makeup routine.
I'd recommend this if your like me and not much of a lip product person because I bet you'd be surprised! This is a definite repurchase for me :).
