Haaaaaaaaaul

I got paid last week, hurray! So that meant me hitting the shops... hard. I mostly bought things that I need, casual clothes for work etc etc. I'm so pleased that I managed to nab two pairs of Topshop's Joni jeans, as I heard that they're meant to be dupes for the AA Easy Jean. I bought them in a light wash denim and in black. I can't wait to start styling them. I also bought a load of comfy tops, you just can't have enough!

Also... I've come to the conclusion that I'm still not 100% happy with my room. So I've decided that I'm going to do a magazine collage on one of my walls. So I picked up some mags today. I'll flick through them and find some cool and inspirational images. I've also ordered lots of knick knacks and hanging trinkets off Ebay to add to my "wall". So I shall do a blog post on that once everything arrives!

Balance Me Radiance Face Oil Review

This is the first face oil I have tried so I wasn't sure what results I was going to get from it, but I needn't have worried. This product is an absolute life saver, especially if you're like me and suffer from dry skin. I use this at night before I go to bed. First I cleanse and then I dispense a few drops onto my fingers and massage this all over my face. The oil definitely has a herbal smell to it, but it is by no means overpowering. It does take a while to sink in but it's definitely worth the wait. When I wake up I have extremely soft, glowing and hydrated skin. I feel that the natural ingredients really help to soothe my skin.
This little product is now a massive staple in my skincare routine. I don't go a day where I don't use it.
If you're on the look out for a new moisturiser or face oil, I definitely recommend giving this a go.
It can be purchased at Balance Me for £30 (30ml) or the smaller version for £15 (10ml).

Dress, Playsuit and Bag c/o AMIClubwear

This dress is super pretty. I love the colour, the feel of the fabric and the fit. I can't wait for Spring to arrive so I can wear it out. I actually wore this playsuit last night for my friend's birthday and it served me well. I love the little chiffon panel thingymabobbah, I think it makes it more interesting. I've wanted a quilted bag with a chain strap for ages. So when I came across this I was well chuffed. I know I'm going to use it to death! All the pieces are well made, stylish and affordable :).

Garnier Belle Colour Natural Dark Ash Blonde

I dyed my hair again! In my previous post you saw me use the Decolour Hair Colour Remover, which had left me with brassy blondeish hair. So I thought great I'll whack on a dark blonde dye and I'll be pretty much back to my natural colour. Well, what a massive fail. I went brown again! Nothing like the chick on the box. Uggh! But I don't know what to blame, either the Decolour or the dye. It does recommend that you leave your hair for 7 days after using Decolour, but there was no way that that was going to happen. Plus it does say you can dye straight over it. But then again it could be the hair dye itself! Oh I don't know, but I'm back to brown. Hopefully it will lift after a couple of washes. Humpf!

Decolour Hair Colour Remover Review

I'm on a mission to get my hair back to it's natural colour which is a light brown/dark blonde. So I thought I'd buy the Decolour Hair Colour Remover, as it only gets rid of the artificial colour in the hair.

The process was easy to follow and quite similar to Colour B4. Mixing lotions and potions, applying it to the hair, yada yada. Then I put some cling film on my bonnet. At first I didn't think anything was working as my hair was still really dark after about 25 minutes with the remover on it. Then I thought I'd best apply heat and hope for the best. The heat sped things up nicely and you could see it lightening up. I had the remover on for about 40 ish minutes and decided to go wash it off and apply step 3.

After that I applied Colour Restore Cool Ash to my towel dried hair. This is suppose to banish rusty, copper and orange tones in coloured hair. Well I think it may have done something but it didn't get rid of the brassyness completely.

And here are the results...

My hair was highlighted blonde before I put the dark red/brown dye on it. That's why I ended up with brassy blonde-ish hair. Also 1 box only just covered my short hair, which is pretty pathetic! So if you have longer hair you might have to fork out for about 3 boxes.

Have you guys tried any hair dye removers?

Shoesies Haul

Lately I've been going a bit shoe mad, it's crazy! I've never normally been that interested in them but now I'm starting to enjoy collecting them. Anywhoo, I've had my eye on these two pairs of shoes for the longest time. I've had them bookmarked on Office for ages but never got around to buying them. Then I saw that they had been reduced right down in the sale and I knew I just had to get them.
The first pair are these Underground Wulfrun Creepers in black and cream suede. They had been £89 but I snapped them up at £40 and I'm so glad I did. They are really well made, really comfy, and quite cool. I'm usually a UK 5.5 in shoes, so I tend to go up to a UK 6, but 6's were far too big and gaping. So I tried a 5 on and they fit perfectly. So if your going to get a pair I'd definitely recommend getting a size down.
The second pair are the Vans Era in red suede and fleece lined. I snapped them up for £28 when they should have been £58. Once again I'm super happy with these. The colour is so vibrant, the suede is soft and the fleece lining is so snuggly and warm on my feet. I also like the brown leather laces. In my opinion these are a little different to your typical Vans and more interesting! Once again I chose to go a size down and buy a UK 5 and they fit perfectly.

I'm so happy with my purchases, all I need now is to find somewhere to put them, eep!

Primark Haul and More

I popped into Primark at the weekend just to see what bits and bobs they had and I came across all of this stuff. My favourite thing, hands down, has to be the rabbit and guinea pig canvases, they look just like Basil and Ted and for £4 I couldn't say no. They now have homes on my wall so I can stare at their cuteness. Next is my little 'LOVE' cushion for £5. I find that Primark are starting to stock really nice home decor, so if you get chance just pop into store to check this shiz out. I also bought two tops which I liked and a scarf with colourful blue tits on :).
I then bought myself a studded bucket bag from Urban Outfitters for £20 in the sale. It's super soft and something I've been wanting for ages. I just know I'm going to get lots of use out of it. Finally, I bought 2 pairs of Vans, I can't get enough of them, I wear them all the time. I've also ordered another pair off Office, eep!

Hoody. c/o ROMWE / Jeans. TOPSHOP / Trainers. ASOS

I love the days when I can whack on a pair of jeans, some trainers and a comfy hoody. I thought this hoody was a tad more interesting because the pully things are all fluorescent and colourful. Doesn't take much to impress me! I've also fallen in love with Topshop's Leigh Jeans, they're incredible. I really want to get my hands on the spotty pair. As for the trainers, you can't beat wedged sneakers, especially if your a short arse like me! :)

HAIR

Hair Inspiration (Google Images)
As you guys may or may not know, I'm trying to grow my pixie cut out. I am currently at the annoying hobbit stage which is driving me insane and makes me want to chop the whole thing off! Anywhoo, I dyed my hair a dark red/brown a few months ago and since then my roots have started to come through. They're not too obvious but under direct light they look super light and weird. So I'm really wanting to go back to my natural hair colour which is pretty much identical to the lovely lady's above. I want to grow it out and add a subtle blonde ombre to the ends once it becomes all one length. But I'm still a while of all that business, probably another 6 months, eep! Oh well, I'll just have to be patient and grit my teeth ^_^.

What I Got For Christmas 2012

Happy New Year Everyone, hope ya'll had a brilliant time. Sorry I've been away, it's been so hectic over the Christmas period. But I thought I'd show you what I got for Christmas 2012. I mainly got money, as you do when you're older, which I put towards a new wardrobe :D. Some of my favourite gifts were my Ray-Bans, the little pink owl, the mouse slippers, the floral bedding and my new YSL perfume. Actually to be honest I like everything! I filmed a video so you can see everything better :).
