How to get rid of piercing scars/bubbles

Hi All, 

so my rook piercing started to develop a bubble when I was in Ireland and it got pretty big.

I decided to do something about it and went out to Superdrug and got me some tea tree oil (only a few quid). Then for the next 3 weeks I sea salt socked it 3 times a week plus applying the oil onto the scars with a Q-tip. 

Here are my results:

As you can see there is still a little bubble at 3 weeks but I wanted to show you that the tea tree oil really does work, and I know for a fact after 4 weeks it will be completely gone, hooray!

So don't think you need to take your piercing out if you get these bubbles/scars since they're easily treated at virtually no expense!

My Rook Piercing

Hey Guys.

So I got my rook pierced on Saturday, (woohoo!).

I was super nervous walking through town with Mick,

but as soon as I got in the piercing place, I was absolutely fine!

I had the first appointment so just went straight in.

The piercing itself was really not that painful at all, which I was surprised about.

Since I've heard people say that the rook is by far the worst.

And believe you me it was 100 times better than my tragus (which hurt soso bad!).

I'm already really fond of it.

ATM I'm just trying not to knock it or touch it and just let it heal.

Love it!

What do you guys think?

Rook Piercing Take Two

So I'm still wanting a rook piercing and I'm going to town next week with my friend Claire.

Usually we end up getting something pierced haha.

I'm undecided on which ear to get pierced though.

My left ear has a tragus and 2 lobes piercings.

Whereas my right ear has 3 lobe piercings.

Decisions Decisions.

My Tragus Piercing

I got my tragus pierced at the beginning of October 2010.

My friend Claire and I both wanted to get something pierced.

I decided on my tragus and she wanted her nose doing.

We went to the Piercing Bodz in Chester,

Great place, very clean, friendly and definitely not dodgey!

Pain doesn't both me at all,

so I wasn't expecting it to hurt that much.

Oh ho ho,

I was so wrong.

It really does hurt and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

The initial piercing is a bitch but when the jewelry is put through its not too bad,

since your hearts pounding like a mofo.

It was love at first sight!

I paid £25 for it, so so worth it.

Now the healing is quite lengthy, since its a cartilage piercing.

Sleeping on that ear for the first few months is bad.

Banging it just makes the thing angry as hell.

So I suggest to leave it alone.

I tried changing my barbell to a circular barbell after a few months.

I thought it was healed since when I touched it there was no pain, I couldn't really feel it.

That was the worst mistake I could ever do.

My ear got so angry and inflamed.

I took it out straight away and tried to put a normal barbell back in it.

I was stressing out because it was so fiddley.

After about an hour of trying I managed to get it back in.

I'm still in love with it and plan on keeping it for as long as possible!

Rook Piercing

I think piercings can look really stylish on the right person.

Someone adorning a metal face is just a big no no and icky!

I had my tragus pierced at the beginning of October 2010,

it was my first 'proper' piercing,

and I love it!

I'll probably do a blog post on it at some point.

Anyways,

I've seen quite a few people with their rooks pierced and I think it looks fab.

Pain doesn't bother me at all,

I actually like the adrenaline rush you receive when you've just had a piercing,

(Wierdo Alert haha)

The place I go to in Chester is The Piercing Bodz,

I definitely recommend it!

I believe its about £25 which is nothing really considering I would plan on keeping it.

The only issue I would have is that rook piercings can migrate :O

I don't want that to happen >.<
