amiclubwear

Dress, Playsuit and Bag c/o AMIClubwear

This dress is super pretty. I love the colour, the feel of the fabric and the fit. I can't wait for Spring to arrive so I can wear it out. I actually wore this playsuit last night for my friend's birthday and it served me well. I love the little chiffon panel thingymabobbah, I think it makes it more interesting. I've wanted a quilted bag with a chain strap for ages. So when I came across this I was well chuffed. I know I'm going to use it to death! All the pieces are well made, stylish and affordable :).

outfit

Hoody. c/o ROMWE / Jeans. TOPSHOP / Trainers. ASOS

I love the days when I can whack on a pair of jeans, some trainers and a comfy hoody. I thought this hoody was a tad more interesting because the pully things are all fluorescent and colourful. Doesn't take much to impress me! I've also fallen in love with Topshop's Leigh Jeans, they're incredible. I really want to get my hands on the spotty pair. As for the trainers, you can't beat wedged sneakers, especially if your a short arse like me! :)

Vintage Ombre Knit Jumper

Vintage Ombre Knit Jumper c/o Il Palloncino Rosso
A really kind subscriber of mine from Denmark sent me this gorgeous vintage ombre knit jumper. I love the jumper's detailing and the fact that she's brought it up to date with a splash of blue ombre. She actually runs a little Etsy shop called Il Palloncino Rosso. I decided to style the jumper on my YouTube, with some skinny jeans and Timberland boots.

ootd

ootd

I nipped into town today because I needed to put some moolah into my bank and also look for a grey scarf/pashmina for the wedding. But before I went I decided to film a get ready with me video and snap some outfit photos.

The top I got in Zara (Dublin) for only 7 Euro. I love the dip dye effect and its high low hem. I paired it with my favourite American Apparel high shine leggings and my Vans. Super comfy!

In the end I didn't manage to find a scarf thing but my Mum's letting me borrow one of hers. Although I did buy 2 amazing things in Primark which I must blog about :).

graduation dress

Dress - Warehouse £20, Shoes - Clarks £20.

It has been my mission to find a suitable dress for an upcoming wedding and my graduation. I went around Chester at the weekend but all the shops failed me! Well, there was a lovely dress in River Island which was quite pretty, I would have gotten that if nothing else caught my eye.

I went to Cheshire Oaks yesterday (which is an outlet), since I thought they would have a good selection of formal dresses/shoes. I came across this beautiful lace dress in Warehouse. Its a classic cut, just what I was looking for. It had originally been £48, and was marked down to £25, but I managed to get 20% with my student card. Result!

I also got these shoes from Clark's. I decided that a purple grey wedge would go well with the dress.
I was initially going to buy some nude heels, but they're all way too tall for me and so uncomfortable. Plus non of the million of pairs I tried on actually fit. Damn my feet being a size 5.5! They had been £50 and were marked down to £20.

I was so pleased with my shopping trip. Usually I never find anything at Cheshire Oaks. :)

 Abersoch Boatyard Top £46

It'll be the 20th Summer that I've been going to Abersoch this year. It's pretty much my second home.
Any-whoo, I've loved these tops ever since I was a little girl but never owned one. My Mum treated me to this for doing well in my degree. It's super warm and cosy and I know I'll wear it to death.

UK Glamorous Disco Pants

Disco pants are the rage right now, but you probably already know this! I've always had my eye on the American Apparel ones, especially after buying the AA nylon tricot leggings. However I couldn't justify the price at £70. So I just kind of left it at that. But lately I've seen a few blog posts and YouTube videos flying around about the so called disco pant dupes from UK Glamorous. I went on their site and had a nosey around and they have some really great things!

I decided there and then that I needed a pair of these in my life and bought them.
At this moment in time if you use the code glamorous20 you get 20% off, even better :).

The dispatch and delivery was amazing. I had emails updating what was happening. They even let me know that it was being delivered by DPD today between certain times. Which is fantastic!

Now for the pants themselves...

I ordered a size 12, it says on the website to order a size up so I did.
I am a curvy 10 with a massive bottom and hips and these fit perfectly.
They are beyond comfortable and are suck you in in all the right places.
So I definitely recommend getting a size up if your thinking about ordering these.
They are a little long in length but that's just because I am only 5'4",
so I just roll them up and they still look fabulous.
The colour is that of dark charcoal which I think its ultra flattering and slightly different to the usual boring black. They are super soft to touch and are slightly stretchy. The material is that of what you expect from leggings. I did feel a little draft when I wore these out.

I have never tried on the American Apparel disco pants so I cannot compare.
But all in all these are a brilliant little number.
I wouldn't even bother going for the AA ones because these do the job perfectly.
I am now even considering getting the blue ones!

I thought I would make a little video showing them as well. Just because photos don't do these justice at all...

What do you guys think to them?

Oh Spring

Oh, I couldn't believe the weather we had last week. It was so sunny and warm, it felt like summer. Ted and Basil were on the garden for the first time this year. I decided to dress in much more of a 'springy' way.
I bought this floral top in Primark ages ago, I love it so much, so dainty. I paired it with my grey bodycon skirt from H&M, some brown tights and my brogues. I threw on this crochet cardi from Tescos since its just so girly but still keeps me a little bit warm!
Here's my video:
